Oral Surgery

Many types of dental surgical procedures are performed by Dr. Olivari. These may include extraction of unsaveable teeth, laser recontouring in cosmetic procedures including veneer or full crown preparation, or preparing the site to receive an implant. Many times Dr. Olivari teams up with other specialists and frequently removes deciduous teeth prior to orthodontic treatment or, for example, may remove over-retained deciduous teeth prior to orthodontic treatment. Sometimes a hemi-section procedure is performed, where the non-restorable half of a root is removed, and the “good root” may be utilized for prosthetic reconstruction.
